# Models for Google-connected agents

> How Skydive protects Google data while keeping model choice open

Google-connected agents can use any model that Skydive can route without retaining your data or using it for training.

## Why model choice is limited

Google's [API Services User Data Policy](https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy) limits how apps may use and transfer data from Google APIs.

Skydive never uses Google data to train a model. It only uses model routes that do not retain Google data or use it for training.

The restriction turns on when an agent connects a Google service through Skydive's OAuth app.

It applies to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Contacts, Tasks, and Forms.

## Which models are available

The agent's model picker shows models that Skydive can serve through a zero-data-retention route.

The set can include several providers. It may change as routes and provider terms change.

A model without a qualifying route stays visible but disabled. This prevents a model switch, subagent, or scheduled run from sending Google data through a route that retains it.

## Use a different model

Choose one of these options:

* Pick another available model from the agent's model picker.
* Disconnect every Google OAuth integration from that agent to remove the restriction.
* Use a separate agent without a Google connection.

  Disconnecting Google removes that agent's access to the connected Google data. It does not affect other agents.
