Skydive is subscription-based. Paid plans put usage credit on a dollar balance: the plan fee for the period equals the credit you get (1:1). Agents spend down that balance as they work. When it runs low, you can buy more, turn on auto top-up, or move up a tier. You manage this in the app under Billing, with a Monthly / Yearly toggle on the plan cards.

Model usage at cost

We do not mark up model usage. What model providers charge is what draws your credit balance. No hidden premium on model rates.Your plan fee still buys the product (agents, seats, platform). Model spend passes through at cost against your credit balance.

Compare plans

Every workspace starts on Free with a small amount of credit so you can build your first agent. After that you buy credit, subscribe to a plan, or both.

Monthly or yearly

On the billing page, switch Monthly or Yearly.
  • Starter yearly: $240 / year (12 × $20), with $264 of usage credit for the year (10% bonus credit).
  • Team yearly: $2,400 / year (12 × $200), with $2,640 of usage credit for the year (same 10% bonus).
Yearly plans charge and grant credit up front for the full year. The fee is 12 × monthly, with no extra discount on the fee. The incentive is the bonus credit.

How credits work

Your agents spend from a credit balance. Usage comes from:

Model usage (at cost)

What your agents spend on AI models as they reason and respond. Billed at cost with no markup: provider rates pass through to your credit balance. More capable models and longer tasks use more.

Compute and services

Sandbox time (browsing, running code, hosting apps) plus metered services your agents call, such as search and email.
On Starter and Team, the subscription fee is the included credit for that period (1:1). Starter at $20/month puts $20 of credit on the balance each month. Team at $200/month puts $200. That credit covers real usage. LLM tokens are charged at cost, with no upcharge on model rates. Compute and other metered services also draw the balance. The no-markup promise is specifically for model token spend. When included credit runs low:
  • Buy usage credit as a one-time purchase (presets start at $50).
  • Auto-refill when the balance runs low (you control the threshold, amount, and optional monthly cap).
  • Or upgrade to a higher plan.
The Usage dashboard shows spend over time, per agent, and against your balance.

Controlling spend

A few controls let you decide how much your workspace can spend and how it refills:
  • Tune auto-refill. Set the balance threshold that triggers it and the restore balance it fills back to. The minimum threshold is $5. The restore balance must be at least $10 above it. Only owners and admins can configure auto-refill.
  • Set a monthly spend limit. Optional, and configured from inside the auto-refill settings. Choose a cap and how it behaves:
    • Notify (soft). Emails all workspace owners and admins the moment monthly spend crosses the limit. Agents keep working. Use this for visibility without a hard stop.
    • Hard cap. Same email goes out, and new agent runs are also paused until you raise or remove the cap, or the billing period resets. Runs already in flight when the cap trips are not cut off mid-task.
    • Both modes reset automatically when your billing period resets, not necessarily on the 1st of the month.
    • Minimum cap: $1. Maximum: $1,000,000.
    • Only owners and admins can set or change a spend limit. Members can see the current setting but cannot edit it.
  • Overdraft cushion. Paid plans carry a small buffer so a run mid-flight isn’t cut off the instant credit hits zero: $5 on Starter and $10 on Team. Pay-as-you-go workspaces have no cushion. Once the buffer is used, new work waits for more balance.

When billing pauses your work

If a workspace can’t cover its usage, agents drop to a free floor: a small amount of activity keeps running so your agents aren’t fully dark, with tight limits (a few runs per hour and per day, capped tokens, the smallest compute tier, and a monthly compute ceiling). Members see a notice to update billing, and full capacity returns the moment there is balance again. An owner or admin can fix it. What to do depends on why it paused: A declined card is retried for a couple of weeks. If it still hasn’t gone through after about three weeks, the workspace drops to pay as you go. Your data stays; the plan’s included credit and paid features stop. Update the card any time to restore the plan.

Enterprise

Enterprise is custom. Self-serve setup and Contact sales are both options on the billing page when you need SSO, advanced security, audit logs, or a paper contract. Talk to us about Enterprise.

Promotional credit

If you have a promo code, you can apply it directly from your billing page.
  1. Go to Settings, Usage & Billing.
  2. In the Credit section, click Redeem (next to the Buy credit button).
  3. Enter your code and submit.
Promo credit is added to your balance immediately and shows as a separate line in the Credit section. One code per person.

Add-ons

Some capabilities bill on top of the plan, per agent: A shared iMessage pool line is free and available to every workspace. The dedicated add-on is for agents that need their own exclusive number. Add-ons use your workspace card, do not grant usage credit, and show as their own invoice line.

Frequently asked

No. Team is $200 per month for the whole workspace, with unlimited seats. All plans have unlimited seats. Seats do not multiply the price.
Yes. Buy usage credit on the billing page adds balance so agents can keep working, with pay as you go and optional auto-refill after that. Subscribing to Starter or Team adds a recurring included credit.
Agents don’t go fully dark. They drop to a free floor: a small amount of activity keeps running under tight limits (a few runs per hour and per day, capped tokens, the smallest compute tier, and a monthly compute ceiling) so an agent can still respond while you sort out billing. Full capacity returns as soon as there is balance again. Buy credit, let auto-refill run, or upgrade. You will see it coming on the Usage dashboard and the credit remaining indicator on Billing.
Yes. Moving to a higher monthly amount usually takes effect right away (often prorated for the rest of the period). Moving down, or off a yearly plan, generally waits until the end of the current period so prepaid credit is not cut short.
The dollar total is 12 × the monthly price. Yearly plans grant 10% extra usage credit for the year as the incentive.
No. Model usage is at cost. We do not add a markup on LLM tokens. Provider rates pass through against your credit balance. The plan fee is for Skydive (agents, seats, platform). Token spend is separate and not padded.
