Every agent has a shared workspace: a folder that both you and the agent read and write. Deliverables show up there. You drop files there for the agent. Work-in-progress lives there between sessions.

The shared workspace

In web chat, the workspace appears as a Files tab you can browse, open, and download from. Both sides have access:

The agent saves here

Reports, exports, generated images, and anything it produces for you show up automatically.

You drop files here

Add reference material or inputs for the agent to use.
The workspace is organized like a folder someone else will browse, with clear names and subfolders. It persists across sessions: what’s saved is still there next time. Open a file to preview it in the panel. Documents, images, spreadsheets, and CSVs render inline. Markdown files (.md) show formatted, with a toggle for the raw source.

Attachments

You can also send files directly in any conversation: on web chat, Slack, email, or text. The agent fetches each attachment, works with it, and returns results. Agents handle a wide range of files:
  • Documents: read, summarize, extract, rewrite
  • Spreadsheets & data: analyze, transform, chart
  • Images: describe, edit, convert
  • Audio: transcribe to text
  • PDFs: pull out content and data
For example, drop in a signed contract and ask:

Getting results back

When an agent produces something for you to keep, it saves it to the shared workspace, where it persists and you can browse it. It can also attach it as a downloadable file in the conversation. Either way, deliverables come to you.
Need the agent to keep a file long-term? Ask it to save to the workspace. Scratch and intermediate work it keeps elsewhere, so the shared space stays clean and browsable.

Browsing files on the agent’s profile

The agent’s profile page has a Files tab that shows everything in its shared workspace, across all conversations. Images appear as a thumbnail grid you can open in a lightbox. Documents appear as a list with a download button on hover. Use the filter to switch between All, Images, and Documents. Files here are the same ones the agent saves during its work. There’s no delete from the profile view; to remove a file, ask the agent to delete it.
