Two ways to connect
PayPal now runs a hosted MCP server. Connect it and the agent can work with your PayPal account to handle invoicing and reporting.- PayPal MCP (recommended). Connect PayPal’s MCP server once and the agent can create and send invoices, pull transaction reports, check account activity. See Connect with MCP.
- PayPal OAuth. The original sign-in integration, scoped to what you grant. See Connect with OAuth.

Add the PayPal connection
From the agent’s connections, choose PayPal. The platform connects you through PayPal’s MCP server.

Sign in to PayPal
A connect card appears. Sign in to your PayPal account and approve.

The agent gets to work
It can now create and send invoices, pull transaction reports, check account activity through the MCP server.

Connect with OAuth
What you share
During the connect flow you authorize what the agent can reach. It works only within what you grant. As with every connection, the underlying token is handled securely and never exposed to the model. See Permissioning.1
Authorize PayPal for the agent
From the agent’s connections, choose PayPal and sign in.

Confirm what the agent can reach. You can change this later.
